Shawn Ray discussed what has become a loaded lineup at the Pittsburgh Pro.
The 2025 Pittsburgh Pro is set to be one of the most exciting shows of the year. It will feature a Men’s Open show for the first time in history and many of the top competitors in the world will be present. Recently, bodybuilding legend Shawn Ray made his top three predictions for the event.
The show will be headlined by Derek Lunsford. He announced that he would be entering the competition in March, joining Nick Walker and Martin Fitzwater. There are also other spectacles planning to take the stage such as Michal Krizo and Good Vito. n what is expected to be a battle from the early moments, the Pittsburgh Pro is set to have plenty of surprises.

Shawn Ray Makes Top 3 Predictions
There is a large pool of competitors to choose from at this year’s competition and Ray was able to pick out his top three:
- First Place – Derek Lunsford
- Second Place – Nick Walker/Martin Fitzwater
- Third Place – Good Vito
“I think Derek wins this show and Nick and Fitzwater are going to be battling it out for second place. But we got one other guy I’m looking at coming out of Brazil at the Arnold Classic that might throw a monkey wrench in this whole thing.”
Shawn Ray previously spoke on Nick Walker and claimed that he should have given the Detroit Pro some thought. He believed that the show could have served as insurance for his Olympia qualification due to the loaded depth in Pittsburgh. This came after Lunsford threw his hat into the ring. Walker decided to stay true to his plan.
Ray was asked about Walker’s prospects for winning the show after placing him second. He touched on his muscle density and aesthetic shape.
“He’s got a chance. He’s got to be very careful with those deltoids. It could be something he gets marked down for. He’s got to be careful with those delts, he doesn’t have the prettiest physique, like you said. “
