Tom Stoltman Crushes 400kg Deadlifts Four Times: “I’m Coming In Motivated And Focused”

Tom Stoltman smoked his “biggest deadlift training cycle” in prep.

The 2021 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Tom Stoltman is a 2 time  has been a decorated Strongman over the last three years and is looking to turn in his best campaign yet. His determination is clear by the looks of his recent training sessions, including an insane video showing four deadlift reps of 400kg.

Stoltman is preparing for the Britain’s Strongest Man competition on Jan. 26-27. Stoltman has finished in the top three during this event three times, including back-to-back wins in 2021 and 2022. Those are the same years that Stoltman won the World’s Strongest Man competition. He finished as the runner-up last year.

Stoltman also has wins during Scotland’s Strongest Man (2018, 2019) and the 2023 Giants Live World Tour Finals. He continues to be one of the best lifters on the planet and shows off his strength in many ways.

In his recent video, Stoltman stepped up to the loaded bar with lifting straps and a belt. The first two reps looked easy as Stoltman was able to drive the weight before finishing out the set.

Tom Stolman has great dedication and motivation heading into the 2024 calendar year and it will begin in just under two weeks.

  • Deficit Stiff-Legged Deadlift — 3 sets of 2 reps
  • Deadlift — 3 sets of 2 reps
  • Snatch Grip Barbell Row — 3 sets of 8 reps
  • Seated Machine Row — 3 sets of 10 reps
  • Superset: Machine Hip Thrust + Resistance Band Pull-Through — 2 sets of 8-20 reps
