Generation Iron Shawn Rhoden Workout

Get your back in order with Flexatron’s routine.

Earlier this week we had the chance to hang out with Shawn Rhoden at the Bev Powerhouse Gym – and if there is one thing that is obvious the moment you meet him, it’s that Rhoden is a man of great resolve and dedication. Want to know how dedicated? Just look at the man’s symmetry and you’ll see how focused Rhoden is to obtaining physical perfection. One of the highlights of Rhoden’s physique is his well defined and symmetrically even back muscles. Training under Charles Glass, Rhoden has built up his back through concentrating on contracting his muscles with sheer will and diligence. So why should we let Rhoden keep all that hard work to himself? Here’s a glimpse at Flexatron’s personal back routine.

Back Wide-Grip Pulldowns – 4 sets x 12 reps
Dumbbell Rows – 4 sets x 12 reps
Bent Over Barbell Rows – 3 sets x 12 reps
Deadlifts – 4 sets x 8 reps
Close-Grip T-bar Row – 4 sets x 12 reps
Behind-the-Neck Pulldowns – 4 sets x 12 reps
Seated Rows – 4 sets x 12 reps
Hyperextensions – 4 sets x 12 reps

Take a few of Mr. Rhoden’s back workouts and blend them into your own routine and there’s no doubt you’ll be seeing some positive results in no time.
