So you’re looking to make some quality gains and get them fast. In this day and age everyone wants to see results yesterday rather than put in the time and work. In reality it’s an understandable thought process. If it was possible to snap your fingers and look like an Olympia champion, it’s safe to say that a good amount of people would be walking around with championship level physiques. Having a superior physique means more confidence which is the secret to continued improvement and growth. So how do you get the results you want, get them quickly, and maintain them with greater ease?

Take It Slow

Well, believe it or not, taking it slow is perhaps the best option for growing quality muscle. If you’re a skinny hardgainer then your goals are going to differ somewhat than someone looking to cut body fat. For the hardgainer who wants to see the best and fastest results, they should be aiming to gain muscle at a rate of two to four pounds per month. That doesn’t seem like much, but growing muscle at this rate is more beneficial for one specific reason: it means you’re gaining pure muscle without gaining fat.
