Bodybuilding will surely always have peaks and valleys for any passionate athlete. It won’t always be easy and you will often want to quit. These are the times to stay strong and dedicated. To push past the doubt and onto greater success. But could some people truly just quit? Is there a type of person out there that actually damages their life through a dedication to bodybuilding?   1. Quitting bodybuilding is the best thing I have ever done. I am now able to devote so much more time to my family, friends, and career. I am happy and much better adjusted than I was when I focused on my body and could’t pass a mirror without taking my shirt off to see how my muscles looked. Life is short, and at your funeral nobody is going to talk about how great your pecs were. Assuming anyone bothers to show up if you cared about your body more than anything else.
