The Orleans Arena will be apart of the Olympia once again in 2026.
The 2026 Olympia has been confirmed returning to Las Vegas. Olympia President Dan Solomon just made another big announcement to help enhance the experience at the competition.
On Monday, Solomon announced that the “Arena Experience” is returning to the Olympia at the end of the year. The finals will return to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. A deal was agreed upon to host the two main stage productions in the arena, which will allow expanded access to fans on the biggest nights of the year.
“After spending six years in a theater environment, the decision to crown this year’s champions at the nearby Orleans Arena allows us to fully scale our presentation while amplifying the intensity and prestige of the fitness industry’s premier event.”
Last year, Solomon asserted that the return to Resorts World was influenced by the venue’s exceptional facilities and its ability to elevate the Olympia experience. Solomon highlighted the construction of an entire pavilion attached to the property, which hosted much of the Olympia experience. Additionally, the Las Vegas Convention Center served as a “tremendous home” for the expo, which has seen significant growth.
The Olympia continues to increase prize money with over $2 million being awarded across 11 divisions in the IFBB Pro League. Champion Derek Lunsford was awarded $600,000, which is the largest prize given out in bodybuilding. As the money continues to grow, the Olympia wants to put on the best show for fans and persuade more people to come out to the event.

2026 Olympia To Feature Arena Experience Once Again
The Orleans Arena has a long history with the Olympia. It has not been featured since 2020 when Big Ramy was crowned champion for the second time. The Palms Las Vegas was named the host hotel for the Olympia Weekend while the Arena Experience will return as well.
Olympia owner Jake Wood commented on the overall experience, including flexibility for more to give fans, along with the history of the connection.
“Returning to the Orleans Arena creates meaningful benefits for fans and athletes. The expanded seating capacity opens the door to welcoming more attendees, while creating greater flexibility for an elevated production experience, VIP Suites, and a wider range of ticket prices, including more affordable seating options.”
Along with further improvements to Olympia Weekend, Dan Solomon has discussed the possibility of using stadiums for the Olympia.
Dan Solomon Floats Idea Of Mr. Olympia Held In Stadiums
Solomon also expressed aspirations for the Olympia’s future, envisioning the event selling out entire stadiums, akin to major events like WrestleMania. He acknowledged the insatiable appetite bodybuilding fans have for the sport, citing rapid ticket sales as evidence.
“I am convinced that we can grow the venue and grow the venue and sell out arenas and sell out stadiums,” Solomon asserted. He acknowledged the unique challenges bodybuilding presents in a stadium environment but emphasized efforts to elevate the sport’s popularity and production quality.
The 2025 Mr. Olympia is poised to be a landmark event, blending top-tier athletic competition with advancements in health, wellness, and fitness technology. As preparations continue, fans and participants alike can look forward to an unparalleled experience in Las Vegas.
