The new venue of the Olympia will be released within a week or so.
The 2025 Olympia is now in the books and this means sights are set on next year’s competition. While competitors are working to get plans in place for the year-long prep to appear on the biggest stage, many organizers and leaders are working to put on the best show for bodybuilders and fans alike.
During the finals, Olympia President Dan Solomon confirmed that the competition will return to Las Vegas in 2026 but it will take place at a different venue.
Last year, Solomon asserted that the return to Resorts World was influenced by the venue’s exceptional facilities and its ability to elevate the Olympia experience. Solomon highlighted the construction of an entire pavilion attached to the property, which hosted much of the Olympia experience. Additionally, the Las Vegas Convention Center served as a “tremendous home” for the expo, which has seen significant growth.
The Olympia continues to increase prize money with over $2 million being awarded across 11 divisions in the IFBB Pro League. Champion Derek Lunsford was awarded $600,000, which is the largest prize given out in bodybuilding. As the money continues to grow, the Olympia wants to put on the best show for fans and persuade more people to come out to the event.

Dan Solomon Teases Bigger Space for 2026 Olympia
In the past, Dan Solomon has teased the idea of the Olympia taking place in a stadium.
“I am convinced that we can grow the venue and grow the venue and sell out arenas and sell out stadiums,” Solomon said last year.
While it is unknown where the competition will take place, Solomon’s comments suggest that it could be a larger venue.
“I’m going to tell you that the Olympia is going to stay in Las Vegas next year. I’m also going to tell you that it’s not going to be here. Next week or so, we’re going to announce where it’s going to be and I think you guys will be really pleased because what we do is we always try to figure out ways to put more people in the building.”
Solomon explained that the change of venue is to fit more people at the event and open their eyes to the world of bodybuilding. The other goal is to make it more affordable to fans to get in at different price points.
“We want to create more ways to put people in the building at different price points. This building is expensive. We understand that, it’s a major commitment to come out here. The tickets are expensive, the venue is smaller, which forces us to have to create pricing that isn’t friendly to everybody.”
The Olympia has taken place in many venues over the years. Most recently, it has been in Orlando before its return to Las Vegas. The committee continues to find ways to make the viewing experience better for fans who make the trip out for the weekend.
