Larry Wheels: “It Became The Worst Thing I Had To Deal With”

Larry Wheels spent time training in Dubai and discussed how he and his fiancé had a long-distance relationships. There are many struggles that come with that normally but Wheels continued to discuss his addiction.

“She has been such an integral part of that with the sex addiction and how I found a way to blow all my money on sex addiction. I wasn’t frequenting strip clubs in Dubai because there aren’t any. There’s no strip clubs in Dubai.  And there’s sites like StripChat and cam sites and I found myself on there and the rest is history.

It became just the worst thing I had to deal with in Dubai because it nearly impossible to get out of that habit. It was legitimately addiction. Just like porn addiction but way worse because money was involved.”

Flex Lewis asked Wheels how much he would spend on different sites:

“Probably like five figures a day. Five figures a day. It was bad. It was very bad.”

Larry Wheels continued to explain how his libido was “through the roof” while he was on cycles. With his ex, Wheels would five view-only access to his bank account so he could be held accountable. He fells back into the issue for a period of time but he has given the same access to his current partner.

The overall transparency and accountability has helped Wheels during this time.

“I fell back into that habit again and my fiancé, I told her ‘this is something I’m struggling with and I’d love your help and this is what worked in the past.’ We got that system in place and it works, man. It saved my life. She saved my life because if it wasn’t for her and giving her that full transparency, where would I be today?”

We all have our demons to battle and that’s my demon. Sex addiction and how I found a way to get mine involved. It isn’t bad enough without money but I found a way to get money involved and it turned not this nightmare that I couldn’t find a way out of.”

Larry Wheels has been open about his fitness journey over the course of his career and his sex addiction as well. Fans continue to be amazed by his feats of strength as he trains to appear in Classic Physique in the future.
