Brandon Curry Thinks Patrick Moore Shouldn’t Switch Divisions, Disagrees With King Kamali

Opinions and advice aren’t a perfect science.

In fact, they’re completely open-ended in how they should be interpreted. One man’s “brilliant” advice could be the undoing of another.

Unsolicited advice can sometimes be even more damaging than anything else. The opinions of others should essentially be taken with a grain of salt. If it speaks to your truth then give it more weight. If not you should completely discard it and never look back. It appears that’s what Brandon Curry and Patrick Moore have both done in regards to the unsolicited advice of King Kamali.

The 2019 Mr. Olympia winner, Brandon Curry has faced his fair share of criticism. Before winning the 2019 show, Brandon Curry has recalled King Kamali suggesting he drop to the 212 division in 2016. Needless to say Curry went his own way. The advice mirrors that of what Kamali suggested Patrick Moore should consider after the 2020 Arnold Classic.

King Kamali suggested that Moore would be more suited for the Classic Physique division. Not only did Patrick Moore disagree with the assessment, but Brandon Curry is also backing his play. In a recent interview Brandon Curry suggested that King Kamali’s advice to Moore was off the mark.

From the looks of things, Patrick Moore is sticking to the Open division and continuing to bulk up.

A veteran bodybuilder in his own right, King Kamali has come to be known for his unique perspective on bodybuilding. He shares his opinions and always speaks to his truth. While Brandon Curry and Patrick Moore may not agree with his take, King Kamali has always spoken from a place of respect and honesty. It will be interesting to see how Patrick Moore and Brandon Curry develop in opposition to Kamali’s advice.
