Fabiano Andrade competed in the 2025 Musclecontest Brasil Pro.
Classic Physique bodybuilder Fabiano Andrade has passed away. The IFBB Pro competitor last took the stage during the 2025 Musclecontest Brasil Pro just a few weeks ago. Multiple reports have shared the news of Andrade’s passing but an official cause has not been shared at this moment.
According to one source, Andrade’s death was the cause of an accident. Also sharing that he would be covered with an Olympia medal around his neck.
“Sad news today after hearing of the passing of Classic Physique PRO athlete @fabianoifbbpro victim of an accident.
He’s being covered with the Olympia medal on his chest. May God comfort friends and family.”
Fabiano Andrade was active in the Classic Physique division up until the time of his death. This includes multiple competitions over the last few bodybuilding seasons. The Classic Physique division has become one of the biggest in the world with an abundance of talent entering each year. Chris Bumstead announced his retirement last year after six Olympia victories. This year, Ramon Dino was able to reach the top and win his first Olympia title.
Fabiano Andrade’s Bodybuilding Career
Fabiano Andrade turned into a competitive bodybuilder at a young age. He was able to build a physique that was able to stand up on stage with the best in the world. This includes NPC appearances in 2019 along with a fourth-place finish at the Arnold Amateur South America.
Andrade would earn his Pro Card and go onto compete in the Musclecontest Brazil Pro in 2021-2022. Just two years later, Andrade was turning in the best performances of his career. This includes Top 10 finishes during the Musclecontest Sao Paulo Pro and Arnold Brazil Pro. Andrade most recently compete in Brazil and at the Musclecontest Rio Pro, where he finished ninth.
The death of Fabiano Andrade continues an unfortunate string in the bodybuilding world. In October, former bodybuilding champion and fitness influencer Ricardo Nolasco dos Santos died in Novo Hamburg in southern Brazil. Santos, who is best known as Kadu Santos, won numerous bodybuilding titles during his career while becoming a well-known influencer on social media. He had just proposed to his girlfriend, Sabrina Wollman, on stage following an event in July.
Just weeks prior, it was reported that IFBB Women’s Physique Pro Jessica Rivera passed away. Rivera put together an impressive bodybuilding career that earned her a Pro Card nearly a decade ago. She became known in Women’s Physique for her impressive conditioning and muscle tone. Rivera was able to become a strong competitor in the division over the course of her career.
Many fans took to social media to sends condolences and share thoughts about Fabiano Andrade. He became known for his incredible physique but those close to him knew his personality and his desire to help others.
