The Generation Iron star has always been known for his incredible size and definition. But a slew of injuries held him back in the latter part of his career. Since then, Dennis Wolf would retire from competitive bodybuilding.

Despite being retired, there’s no doubt that Dennis Wolf did a ton of damage to his body while he was active. While this latest shoulder and bicep surgery wasn’t necessarily due to bodybuilding, there’s no doubt that the years of training had some effect on his body.

In a recent Instagram post, Wolf discussed his surgery and took time to thank his doctor in the process.

Translated from Google:

“Shoulder and biceps tendon post surgery.

“A huge thank you to Dr. Mathias Ritsch for the great job! Now you have to wear a sling for 4 weeks and take care of your biceps for 8 weeks.
I feel great and am looking forward to my recovery time.
Of course with some physiotherapy in Olfen, North Rhine-Westphalia next week?”
