“If you could give me 45 minutes, twice a week, that’s all you need to do. It’s not theory because I’ve done it. It could change your life, with that and a good diet. The whole time thing, excuse, it’s not relevant. You don’t need a lot of time.”

Dorian Yates Talks Building Muscle
Dorian Yates was able to build muscle using short workouts by bringing the body to failure during exercises. This was the way to bring the body out of its comfort zone and get real results.
“When people come to train with me, our objective is to get an exercise and go to real muscular failure. You got to give it more than its used to. The body doesn’t want to change, it wants to stay status quo. You got to give it a bloody good reason to change so you got to put more stress on the body than it’s used to. And then you have to recover from it. That’s the idea, do enough to stimulate but not too much because you have to recover from that.”
