“You have Samson, who is starting to define and grow into who he can be. If you put the playing field even, there’s no way Hadi or Derek can beat him because he has things that they don’t.”
Wheeler is known for an aesthetically-pleasing physique that inspired many of today’s competitors. He is considered one of the best, if not the best, bodybuilder to never win a Sandow Trophy. Wheeler has many other victories on his resume, including being a four-time Arnold Classic champion.
Wheeler went into detail about the competition, highlighting four bodybuilders who will be in the mix at the end.

Flex Wheeler Talks 2025 Olympia Prediction
The 2025 Olympia will feature the last three champions including Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan. They both lost out to Samson Dauda in 2024. At this point, Flex Wheeler prioritizes size and believes the two biggest competitors have more to gain.
“I feel they are at the outer limit of having too much, where Samson and Andrew [Jacked] have so much more that they can still just add. They haven’t got to it.”
While Dauda and Andrew Jacked might have more to add, Wheeler argued that the door might have been left open for shorter competitors. Regardless, Wheeler picked out two competitors who could win the show.
“The bigger men left the door open that allowed them to do that. Now saying that, Derek and Hadi, what they’ve been able to achieve is just mind-boggling.”
“It’s like they are just leaving the door open for these guys to be able to come in there. If you just take them all at 100%, then it would be Samson and Andrew going at it because they are the two bigger men, and they do have the smaller waists and the more flowing lines.”
Dauda won his first Olympia title in 2024, defeating the likes of Derek Lunsfordand Hadi Choopan. He quickly returned to competition in the 2025 Arnold Classic, where he finished as the runner-up to Lunsford. This sets up an intense battle at the end of the year during the Olympia.
