Hany Rambod Shares Biggest Mistakes In The Gym
The question was simple, what is the biggest mistake you see beginner lifters make that they don’t realize is hindering their results? Hany Rambod gave a quick and decisive answer.
“I would say the number one thing is adding too much weight. I think that whether you’re a beginner lifter or you’re being reintroduced into lifting because you want to get back into shape, so if you’re starting out and you’re a teenager or in your early 20s, you can’t go too heavy.”
Adding too much weight early on could lead to poor form and execution or worse — injury. Weightlifters want to focus on their form when performing different exercises. This can be done by adding the right amount of weight that allows you to control it throughout the entire movement. If there is to much weight, this cannot happen.
