This new raise will impact 23 bodybuilding shows this year!
The IFBB Pro League has been open about raising the bar in terms of prize money for its athletes. This has happened recently as the league continues to take on new sponsors that help accomplish this goal. On Thursday, IFBB Pro League Vice President Tyler Manion took to social media to share that there will be a new raise in prize money for the 2025 season.
Manion shared that Supa Power, a new IFBB Pro League sponsor, aided in a $230,000 boost in Men’s Open prize money across 23 shows. There will also be a minimum of $15,000 for winners.

“I want everybody to welcome Supa Power as our new IFBB Pro League MEn’s Open Bodybuilding corporate sponsor for 2025. Because of their sponsorship, an extra $230,000 will be added to the prize money for Men’s Open Bodybuilding shows this year.”
The theme of prizes being raised in bodybuilding is one that has been popular in recent years. This has been happening across both the Olympia and Arnold Classic as both events look to reward its champions well.
IFBB Pro League Raises Prize Money
In February 2024, Manion shared that due to this a new partnership with MIT45 and Uprising Extracts, the league would be able to raise the minimum prize money across 21 bodybuilding shows by $10,000. This is a total of $210,000 across the bodybuilding season that was added into the prize money fund.
Now, another sponsor has jumped on board and has allowed for another raise.
During the 2024 Olympia, owner Jake Wood wanted to keep his show at the top of the food chain. Before announcing the winner, he shared that the top prize would be raised to $600,000 while the runner-up check would be $250,000. This meant that the overall prize money would reach $2 million, which is the most of any show by far. No other competition has ever given away $1 million.
This move came after Arnold Schwarzenegger raised the first-place prize at his show to $500,000. acknowledged that the 2024 Mr. Olympia made history by raising the first place prize money to $400,000. In what seemed to be a direct response to that record-breaking increase, Schwarzenegger claimed that would be raising the Arnold Classic prize money for first place to $500,000. In another counter move, Wood made the jump at the Olympia in October.
It will be interesting to see if Arnold raises the bar once again at the 2025 Arnold Classic, which is just one week away. This battle is good for bodybuilding as winners will be able to make more and the top competitors will be persuaded to compete. The IFBB Pro League has joined in and continues to raise the bar for winners each weekend.
