Julian Fitzgerald has started working with Hany Rambod as he chases a long-term bodybuilding goal.
Every now and then, something special at a young age comes along in the sport of bodybuilding. Hany Rambod might have found the next great one with Julian Fitzgerald.
At just 19 years old, Fitzgerald has built an incredible physique naturally. He might not be close to taking the stage just yet but has lofty goals that includes becoming the youngest Classic Physique Olympia champion ever.
Fitzgerald joined Rambod for a workout recently. Before hitting the gym, the two began discussing Fitzgerald’s goals.
“I found that Chris Bumstead won the Classic Physique Mr. Olympia around 24. Because I just turned 19 and have all the support around me, I thought why not shoot for youngest Classic Mr. Olympia? That’s my long-term goal right now. I have about five years.”
Fitzgerald grew up with an athletic background. His father, a 6-foot-7 defensive end, played college football. Fitzgerald himself has been a standout in football, wrestling, soccer, and fencing. Along with pursuing his dreams as a natural bodybuilder, Fitzgerald has been attending Hampton University. He just finished his first of a five-year program to get his Masters in Business.
Hany Rambod Leads Julian Fitzgerald Through Workout
After their conversation, Hany Rambod and Julian Fitzgerald hit a shoulder and chest workout:
- Dumbbell Lateral Raises
- Dumbbell Front Raises
- Dumbbell Shoulder Press
- Standing Flye Machine
- Straight-Bar Tricep Pushdowns
- Machine Chest Press
- Close-Grip Bench Press
Fitzgerald, just 19 years old, does not plan to compete in bodybuilding anytime soon. He shared that maybe at 22 or 23 years old, he will do “something minimal.” And when he does, it will be natural.
“I don’t plan on hopping any PEDs anytime soon. I plan on staying natural. I’ve stayed natural my entire life. And I’m trusting Hany to help me bring the most out of my physique that I can. We both agreed that I have a lot more to bring out. I’m excited to see what I can bring out naturally.”
Julian Fitzgerald will now be working with Rambod and is excited to see where this journey can take him.
“I’m excited for the grind. When it’s time to put in the work, that’s where I kind of specialize. I lock in and do what I need to do and more. I hope you all stick around for the journey.”
