Keone Pearson is focused on 212 for now but knows a move to Open will happen in the future.
Men’s 212 bodybuilder Keone Pearson has built an incredible reputation in the bodybuilding world. Right now, that is his focus as he continues to build a legacy in the 212 division.
There have been many rumors about Pearson making the jump to Men’s Open. During a recent interview with Jay Cutler, the reigning 212 Olympia champion shut down those rumors for now.
“I think my destiny right now is 212. That’s all I’m focusing on. I want. Certain amount of winnings in the 212 before I feel good about going to the Open.”
Pearson has emerged as a star in bodybuilding in a short amount of time. His pro career, beginning in 2016, started in Classic Physique before making the move to 212. He spent a few years in the division before going head-to-head and defeating Shaun Clarida. Pearson is now the new face of the 212 division after winning back-to-back Olympia titles.

Keone Pearson Remains Focused in 212

Pearson has built an incredible physique that many believe is one of the best in the world, regardless of division. He is preparing to hit the Olympia stage in 2025 to complete a three-peat in 212.
What does the future hold beyond that? No one knows for sure but Pearson seems set on creating a deeper legacy within the division.
“Just building a legacy, that’s what it is. I don’t want to just jump to the Open just because people want me to go to Open. I want to do it when Keone is ready. Right now, I’m not ready to make that move permanently. I’m not ready to go up there.”
While Keone Pearson remains focused on 212, he admits that the move to Open will happen in the future. Right now, he does not feel rushed and has his priorities straight with what he wants to accomplish.
“I feel like I still have a few more years left in the tank for 212 then move to Open. It’s going to happen. I’m only 30 years old.”
