Both newcomers in the IFBB Pro League hinted at a potential appearance in Columbus.
Larry Wheels and Sam Sulek are two of the newest IFBB Pro League bodybuilders in the Classic Physique division. After his victory over the weekend, Wheels called out Sulek, asking when his next show is. After more comments, both competitors have hinted at the 2026 Arnold Classic.
Wheels earned his Pro Card by winning the Classic Physique division at the 2025 Musclecontest Bullman Pro Qualifier, held in Dublin on Saturday. Will Larry Wheels & Sam Sulek Compete at the Arnold?
Larry Wheels returned to Instagram following his victory to share more about his future plans. Despite winning his Pro Card, Wheels knows that he has much more to improve upon before returning to competition.
“I have a significant amount of muscle and conditioning to add on before I can be taken seriously as a Pro Classic competitor. I’m intending to do my next show next spring and have a productive offseason to finally get these chicken legs to grow. My intention isn’t to be the next Mr. O or a top pro competitor but rather to have a sense of purpose for training.”
As for Sam Sulek, it is unknown when his next show will be but there has been multiple comments about the Arnold next March. The most recent came during a back workout with Urs Kalecinski.
“The next target is the Arnold Classic Pro stage for this guy,” Kalecinski said.
While Sulek did not confirm this statement, he also did not shut it down.
Sulek has continued to grow in popularity over the years and fans were excited to see his bodybuilding debut. He became known for his incredible physique at a young age but many would also find criticisms in his methods of achieving it, led by his diet. In recent weeks, he cleaned up his diet and focused on losing weight, tailoring his calorie intake to reach this goal.
