Is Keone Pearson’s future in Men’s Open?
Men’s 212 bodybuilder Keone Pearson has reached the pinnacle of his division but many believe that he could climb even higher. Recently, bodybuilding veteran Lee Priest shared his opinion on Pearson and claims that he has a chance to be crowned Mr. Olympia in a few years.
Pearson has emerged as a star in bodybuilding in a short amount of time. His pro career, beginning in 2016, started in Classic Physique before making the move to 212. He spent a few years in the division before going head-to-head and defeating Shaun Clarida. Pearson is now the new face of the 212 division after winning back-to-back Olympia titles.

Pearson has caught the attention of Priest, who is not shy about sharing his opinions around the sport of bodybuilding. BTS TV shared a post on social media asking if Pearson could finish in the top five this year. Priest commented with his own prediction.
“He could easy, maybe this year top 6/8 but in a could years he can win it.”
Keone Pearson Gaining Plenty Of Attention In Bodybuilding
Keone Pearson has completely taken over the Men’s 212 division in recent years. He has won two consecutive titles and has sported one of the best physiques in bodybuilding regardless of division. Priest is not the only one who believes in Pearson.
Ronnie Coleman also claimed that Pearson will win a Mr. Olympia in his career.
“He’ll win it. He will win it for sure. That’s how confident I am in him and I’m pretty sure he’s that confident in himself.”
Martin Fitzwater is also on record saying that Pearson might already be the “greatest 212 of all-time.” Pearson is not in a rush to make the jump to Men’s Open. He wants to make sure he is fully ready for the move while also continuing to dominate 212. When he does move up, Pearson will follow a long line of others who have had success.
Derek Lunsford won his first 212 Olympia title in 2021 before making the big jump to Men’s Open. Two years later, Lunsford became the first bodybuilder to win an Olympia title in two divisions, being crowned the 2023 Mr. Olympia. If Pearson is next in line, it will not be soon as he claims to have work to do before making the jump. When Pearson eventually does make the jump, it will be a sight to see for bodybuilding fans.
