Nick Walker is feeling as motivated as ever following his performance.
Men’s Open bodybuilder Nick Walker made his return to the 2025 Olympia stage this weekend and was considered among the top tier of competitors expected to contend for the sandow title. His return did not go as planned as Walker finished sixth on Saturday night.
After his Olympia performance, Walker took a few days to let it all sink in and shared a statement to the public on why he was unable to meet expectations.

“Now the fun part, to sum it up, the peak just didn’t go as planned.”
Walker was forced to miss the 2023 Olympia after suffering a hamstring tear. He returned to the stage during the 2024 New York Pro and was victorious, punching his ticket to the biggest show of the year once again. Walker received criticism following his victory and would later announce that he decided to sit out of the Olympia once again.
This year, Walker won his third New York Pro title before finishing as the runner-up at the Pittsburgh Pro.

Nick Walker Motivated Heading into 2026
Walker entered the weekend confident in his prep and believed that he could finish near the top. After coming in at No. 6, Walker shared all of the emotions he was feeling.
“After the weekend and finally letting the emotions sink in, upset, angry, disappointed, and feeling all of the emotions. It sucks working incredibly hard all year, for the final few days not to go as planned, and it’s very emotional to say the least.”
Walker worked with coach Kyle Wilkes to prepare for the show. Wilkes also shared a message following the event, which was his first show. Walker believes that they improved from night one but still needed to get better.
“This is Kyle’s first Olympia show as a coach, first two day show, first time peaking at night so a lot of new stuff. Friday was deff not what we wanted but we came back and improved for Saturday.
Notes have been taken, and we have a plan set in place, so now we move on, move forward and continue to focus on getting better.”
Despite his finish, Nick Walker was excited to return to competition and this has added some more motivation for 2026.
“BUT IT FOR DAMN SURE FELT AMAZING BEING BACK ON THE STAGE REGARDLESS. This will just motivate me to work harder. For those that support me, and been following for years, I thank you so much!!!!! Now we get back to work!!!!!”
