2022 Natural Olympia is PNBA legend Philip Ricardo Jr.’s last natural bodybuilding show after 30 years of competing.

The most significant natural bodybuilding show of the year, 2022 Natural Olympia, will be Philip Ricardo Jr.’s last natural bodybuilding show. Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA) athlete Philip Ricardo Jr. informed Generation Iron that he’d be retiring after competing at the Super Bowl of natural bodybuilding. Ricardo Jr. stated:

“The Natural Olympia will be my last with regards to competing on stage. I will be competing in both the Open Pro, and will be defending my Grandmasters Pro title as well.

Its bitter sweet, but after 30 years of competing its time to focus on family, and serving God and the community.

Bodybuilding has been a major part of my life, and I will still be involved in promoting my annual event, judging shows, and giving contest prep advice for aspiring athletes. I could not be any happier with the amazing career that I have had, as well as the fit family that I have gained all over the world. I want to thank everyone for motivating and encouraging me along my journey in this sport.

I am very happy to leave the stage with many amazing moments and I feel really good about the physique I will display for this last Natural Olympia!”

Natural Olympia

Natural Olympia is taking place November 10-13, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV. It’s the largest natural bodybuilding show of the year hosted by the INBA PNBA. Ricardo says this year will be a “dog fight for the top spot” with the return of legend 6x Natural Olympia champ Kiyoshi Moody and 2020 Natural Olympia champ Meshack Ochieng. As well as other elite participants, such as the reigning Natural Olympia champ Paul Krueger and Men’s bodybuilding competitor Peter Cichonski

It’ll be interesting to see who’s crowned this year’s champion. And it’ll also be intriguing to see who walks away with the INBA PNBA’s grand prize. Last year Ricardo Jr. won the Harley-Davidson prize the INBA PNBA gave away at Natural Olympia.
