About Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns began his fitness journey at a young age. He was an incredible athlete early in his life and went onto play college football at Georgia Tech. Reigns then got a chance in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars before moving to play in the Canadian Football League. After two years, he retired from football and signed on with WWE in 2010.
Reigns quickly became one of the biggest blockbuster stars in the business. He made his debut as a member of “The Shield” with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Reigns won the WWE Tag Team Championship before his historic run began as Universal Champion. Reigns won the title in 2014 and held it for an incredible 1,316 days. This was the fourth-longest World title reign in WWE history.
Reigns has dealt with adversity over the course of his career. In 2019, he made an emotion return to Monday Night Raw to share that his leukemia was once again in remission.
