Sam Sulek & Urs Kalecinski Back Workout
The duo hit a workout consisting of four exercises before getting into posing:
Iso Front Lat Pulldown
The first workout of the session was front lat pulldowns. Before diving into the exercise, the two discussed whether it is better to use one or two arms.
“If I’m doing something lighter, I might want to do one arm because I’m not winded after. It’s just a burn but if I’m moving stuff around, sometimes I do think if you do your right side first, you got to take a breath? Or just do it right after.”
Chest Supported T-Bar Rows
The duo moved onto T-bar rows next. This is where they practiced rest-pause reps to add a new wrinkle into the exercise.
“You take 10 to 12 to 15 seconds in between then you go again.”
“I’m kind of rowed out,” Sulek said.
Assisted Pull-Ups
Urs Kalecinski chose the assisted pull-up machine next after Sulek said he was rowed out. This machine hit lats and added size and thickness.
“We can do thickness. This machine is super good. Chin over the bar, it’s like one rep but maybe for CrossFit, not for bodybuilding.”
Row Machine
The final exercise of the session was the row machine. Before hitting posing, Kalecinski explained that bodybuilding workouts get more and more advanced as time goes on.
“When I was starting up, I did like 30 sets of chest, probably like 25 of those was for delts or something.”
