Dauda has proven that he is a true force in Men’s Open and this has been the case since his debut. In 2022, he finished in the Top 10 at his first Olympia competition and shot up the scorecard in 2023 — when he was top three. Dauda is now preparing to make it two victories in a row.
Dauda gave fans an immediate look at his physique in March when he appeared as a guest poser in Brazil. He was coming off a second-place finish at the 2025 Arnold Classic. Samson Dauda’s Back Workout

Dauda used two supersets during this workout before ending with his finisher:
- Machine High Row/Lat Pulldown – Superset
- T-Bar Row/Seated Cable Row – Superset
- Rack Pulls
Superset 1
The first set was machine high rows and lat pulldowns. Samson Dauda focused on lats during the first movements. This has led to seeing results and Dauda admitted that this has him excited for the show.
“We are digging deep but at the same time, I see results and I see where we’re at, and it’s a look that we have never come close to getting before. And that’s got me excited.”
Superset 2
The second superset featured two variation of rows. Despite feeling tired at times, Dauda focuses on one set of pushing maximum weight during this point of his prep.
“Even with the late end of prep, where energy is low, calories are low, you’re a lot more tired, even if it’s just for one or two sets, I push the maximum amount of weight that I can. I put that muscle group under tension with a max amount of weight that I can.”
Rack Pulls
Rack Pulls were the final exercise of the session. Samson Dauda finished this back workout, which is one of the final ones he will tackle before the Olympia.
“Two more to go. One in the UK and one in the U.S. so just one more back session to go before the Olympia. It’s counting down now. It’s a lot of fun.”
