After his strong performance at the California State Pro, Sergio Oliva Jr. appears to just be getting started.

In his first time back to stage in years, Sergio Oliva Jr. put on a strong showing at the 2023 Musclecontest California State Pro. Oliva Jr. didn’t lose a step as he wowed the crowd with an strong physique and some impressive posing.

Sergio Oliva Jr. has been on stage for quite some time. Oliva Jr. Hasn’t competed since his showing at the Legion Sports Fest Pro in 2021 taking third at the show. But while he may have been away from competition, Oliva Jr. continued to put in quality time at the gym. While some speculated that he wouldn’t make a return, Oliva Jr. put those notions to bed as he stepped in at the last minute to compete at the California State Pro.

Coming in third place at the show, Sergio Oliva Jr. proved why he’s one of the best bodybuilders in the world. With a strong performance, including a well choreographed posing routine, Oliva Jr. has established himself as a bodybuilder to watch. His posing alone makes Oliva Jr. a top tier bodybuilder.

A Fire Has Been Lit

With a strong performance in his return to action, Sergio Oliva Jr. has made it clear that this won’t be a one and done performance. Happy to be back on stage after so long, Oliva Jr. has expressed his gratitude to be able to compete once again. Oliva Jr. appears to be motivated after this performance.

When I used to see people say “I’m just so happy to be on stage” I was like 🙄 But this time for me it means something different. I Wanted to come for this Win of course but it genuinely was great to be free to do what I want to in my life. I did everything I could for this show (evvverythingand) never in my life worked as hard as I did.

No excuses tho, guys like @andrewjacked and @hadi_choopan do what I did and travel nail their condition still. No matter what I’m back and never have to worry about being trapped again. No prep will ever be harder after this nightmare. I mostly want to say shout out to the IFBB letting guys condition like @rossflanigan_gainz and @beef_stu_97 get not only seen, but rewarded. These guys came with it and I’m happy to share the stage with them.

What The Future Holds

Deciding to compete last minute was a bold gamble by Sergio Oliva Jr. But while it may not have ended in a victory, the kind of performance Oliva Jr. put on was impressive. It shows that he has plenty left in the tank. We can likely expect even better performances from Oliva Jr. in the future.
