Shaquille O’Neal continues to show off his progress in the gym!

Shaquille O’Neal has continued his love for fitness and exercise off the court. In fact, the NBA Hall-of-Famer took on some different challenges in retirement once his level of activity went down. In a recent physique update, O’Neal continues to show off his progress in the gym.

Shaq is considered one of the most, if not the most, dominant player in NBA history. He averaged 23.7 points and 10.9 rebounds during a career that included four NBA Championships and an MVP award following the 1999-2000 season. O’Neal even has a passion for bodybuilding and has followed the sport over the years.

Shaquille O’Neal was named an honorary ambassador for the 2020 Olympia. In 2021, he attended the Arnold Classic and took some time to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is clear that O’Neal has put in some work in the gym following his latest update.

In retirement, Shaquille O’Neal put on some weight and was determined to shed it. At over 7-feet tall, Shaq made sure to keep his weight down and remain in shape. What he did was implement a new workout regimen and diet plan. To this point, Shap has lost over 40 pounds.

“You know what. Listen. Aye, listen. I know I’m ugly sometimes. But today? Looking like a snack. Snack yeah. She say i’m looking like a snack.”

In October, Shaq took to Instagram to show off some bodybuilding poses of his own. It is clear that he is a fan of the sport and has even interacted with some of the all-time greats.

In 2018, Shaquille O’Neal jokingly called out Phil Heath and shared a posing routine of his own. Shaq has been knowledgable about the bodybuilding world for years now and that is going to continue as he is a fan of the sport.

It is clear that the changes that Shaq has made are working as he continues his impressive physique transformation. It will be interesting to see where he goes next.
