Generation Iron’s Strength Wars to Feature Powerlifters, Hybrid Athletes and Strength Competitors in Live Challenges
Generation Iron Network’s Strength Wars will bring its signature head-to-head strength competition format to the Hudson Fit Expo, held on September 12 at St. Peter’s Prep Football Field, Jersey City, NJ, featuring a lineup of athletes competing across a series of fast-paced strength and endurance challenges.
The live Strength Wars activation will begin at 11:00 AM and feature male and female competitors battling through five challenges designed to test power, muscular endurance and overall athletic performance.
The proposed challenges include:
- 225-lb squat for 10 repetitions
- 135-lb overhead press for 10 repetitions
- 30 chin dips
- 45-lb weighted plank for up to 120 seconds
- 45-lb overhead walking lunges for 20 repetitions

Confirmed athletes currently include NFL player and powerlifter Dillon Skutty vs bodybuilder Krishna Mansukhani; powerlifter Alexa Pissante vs hybrid athlete Stephanie Ogman; with additional competitors and individual matchups expected to be announced leading into the event.
Strength Wars, has built an international following by bringing athletes from different strength disciplines together in direct, high-intensity competition. After spending some time on hiatus, the competition series is now being revived after the release of Strength Wars: The Movie. Which featured notable athlete superstars such as Larry Wheels, NDO Champ, Anabolic Horse AKA Jan Krasinsky, Vanilla Gorilla, Big Neechi and Terron Beckham.
The Hudson Fit Expo collaboration will bring that experience directly to attendees through live competition, athlete storytelling and original video content produced around the event. Larry Wheels will also be present!
“We’re excited to bring Strength Wars to the Hudson Fit Expo and create an experience that is competitive, entertaining and built around the athletes,” said Edwin Mejia Jr. of Generation Iron. “The goal is to showcase different types of strength athletes while giving fans an opportunity to experience the Strength Wars format live.”
Additional athlete announcements, matchups and event details will be released ahead of the expo.
