Hudson Fit Expo 2026: Larry Wheels Headlines Full Strength Sports Lineup
It’s an expo that is pushing some serious weight, not just a bunch of products. The Hudson Fit Expo 2026 is set for Saturday, September 12, at St. Peter’s Prep Football Field in Jersey City, New Jersey. The event will feature more than 300 athletes competing across six disciplines, while welcoming thousands of spectators for a full day dedicated to strength sports, combat sports, wellness, and fitness culture – as the event continues to grow into one of the Northeast’s premier fitness festivals.
Larry Wheels will headline the event with a special appearance that includes a meet-and-greet and fan experience. Wheels joins a growing list of notable fitness personalities who have appeared at Hudson Fit Expo over the years, including Kali Muscle, Sadik Hadzovic, Andre Ferguson, and Raymont Edmonds.
Hudson Fit Expo 2026: Competition Returns to the Spotlight
Rather than centering the event around booths and product displays, organizers say Hudson Fit Expo was designed to showcase competition first.
Athletes will compete in:

- Olympic Weightlifting
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- Sumo Wrestling
- Strength Wars
- Hybrid Fitness Challenge
Alongside the competitions, fans can explore wellness experiences, recovery zones, food vendors, fitness brands, group fitness classes, and community programming throughout the day.
The event traces its roots back to 2019 and has continued to expand each year. According to organizers, 2026 marks its largest festival to date.
Building the Next Generation of Strength Athletes
Hudson Fit Expo founder Coach Zaib says the goal extends beyond hosting another fitness festival.
“I’m trying to build something I wish existed when I was a kid. I didn’t know sports like powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, or jiu-jitsu even existed. I want young people to walk into Hudson Fit Expo and realize there are so many different paths they can take.”
He added that many of the competitions are intentionally designed to welcome first-time competitors alongside experienced athletes.
“If someone leaves believing they can step onto a competition floor next year, we’ve accomplished something much bigger than hosting an event.”
That philosophy is reflected throughout the event, with organizers aiming to lower the barrier to entry for athletes interested in strength and combat sports.
More Than Just Competition
The day will conclude with The Drop Set, a DJ-hosted celebration bringing athletes, spectators, exhibitors, and vendors together following the final competitions.
Hudson Fit Expo also partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with a portion of event proceeds supporting pediatric cancer research.
