Actors and Fitness Icons The Rock, Mark Wahlberg and Ryan Reynolds Make Forbes Highest Paid List

Dominating the acting and fitness worlds.

There’s no doubting that in modern Hollywood you can’t simply be a great actor. If you’re going to be the lead in a high budget action movie you can’t simply have screen presence. Nowadays you have to look the part or kiss it goodbye.

A modern day leading man needs to get himself in the gym and be in peak physical condition. That’s not to say all leading actors are fitness icons, but from the recent Forbes highest paid actors list, it’s safe to say those who stay in shape are earning more.

Number one on the list is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, one of the most popular actors on Earth. In fact, The Rock has the most followers on Instagram cementing that very idea. The actor earned $87.5 Million from his upcoming Netflix film Red Notice and his Under Armour line Project Rock.

Ryan Reynolds who also stars in Red Notice earned $71.5 Million. He is also known for hitting the weights and doubling as Marvel antihero Deadpool.

Rounding out the top three is another actor known for his physique. Mark Wahlberg earned an estimated $51 Million after starring in Netflix’s third most watched original film Spencer Confidential back in March.
