Here is a full breakdown of prejudging from Olympia 2022 Classic Physique.
The Classic Physique division continues to grow and the prejudging portion of the 2022 Olympia showed that off. A record 60 competitors took the stage on Saturday morning looking to show the improvements they made in the offseason. Of course, all competitors are looking at the top to three-time champion Chris Bumstead.
As expected, Bumstead was joined in the first callout by Ramon Rocha Queiroz and Terrence Ruffin. The crowd began to make some noise as judges moved Bumstead and Ramon Dino to the center for comparisons. There are many who believe that Queiroz is a big threat to the crown this year. Breon Ansley and Urs Kalecinski also appeared in the first group.
The callouts went deep as every competitor took the stage but in the end, there was a clear top tier. Bumstead and Ramon Dino were called back out for the final comparison between the two. The judges gave the crowd a show and put the top competitors through a series of poses.
This is a large division but there still seems to be some clarity at the top. The finals on Saturday night should be nothing short of exciting. Below, you can find a full breakdown of the event from Saturday morning.
