Highlights from the 2024 Olympia Fitness prejudging.
The 2024 Olympia began on Friday morning with the first set of prejudging and the Fitness division took the stage for the judges. Five-time and reigning Olympia champion Oksana Grishina will miss the event as she is expecting a child so this means there will be a different champion here in 2024.
The Fitness division will be without multiple contenders this year. Along with Grishina, three-time Arnold Classic champion Ariel Khadr will be absent as she recovers from a neck injury. Khadr, who announced her decision on Sept. 22, has been dealing with these issues since 2018 but has been able to battle through it. She has decided to focus on her health moving forward. Three-time Olympia champion Whitney Jones will also miss the competition.

This means the division will be headlined by 2023 runner-up Taylor Learmont, who is considered one of the favorites to win the whole thing. Learmont was victorious in September during the 2024 Titans Grand Prix Show and will now compete in her second Olympia. Two-time champion Missy Truscott also returned to the stage after missing last year’s final with a knee injury.
It was a short prejudging session with a small group of Fitness competitors taking the stage. Reigning champion Taylor Learmont was kept out of the first callout and brought out with the second group. Former champion Missy Truscott highlighted the first callout with Jaclyn Baker. This duo returned to the third and final group, along with Allison Kramer and Tamara Vahn.
After prejudging, it seems as though it is anyone’s contest heading into the finals on Friday night.
