Las Vegas, Nevada, hosted the 2025 Olympia over the weekend, celebrating the prestigious competition’s 61st anniversary with surprises. In a fiercely contested event, Derek Lunsford reclaimed the throne, narrowly beating past champions like Samson Dauda and Hadi Choopan. Alongside the prize money and surprising retirements, this anniversary edition is one for the books.
The 2025 Olympia elevated the stakes, especially following a challenge from the Arnold Classic. The Mr. Olympia prize money has increased from $400,000 to a whopping $600,000, surpassing the $500,000 offered by the Arnold Classic for their winner.
