Brandon Curry is not done competing and plans to hit the Masters Olympia.
Bodybuilder Brandon Curry made a claim that if he performed well at the 2025 Arnold Classic, he would consider doing the Masters Olympia. Well, the Arnold is officially in the books and Curry is keeping his promise.
Terrick El Guindy was joined by Dennis James, Chris Cormier, and Bob Cicherillo following the action in Columbus to break down the show. When discussing Curry’s performance, El Guindy shared on OlympiaTV that the bodybuilder confirmed to him that he would be competing at the 2025 Masters Olympia.
Curry is one of the great bodybuilders of his generation. He was crowned Olympia champion in 2019 before finishing as the runner-up in 2022. Curry is also a two-time champion on the Arnold stage. He was listed on the roster and brought the best physique possible to the stage on Saturday night.
Brandon Curry To Compete At 2025 Masters Olympia
During the recap of the Arnold Classic, El Guindy shared thathe spoke to Curry and he confirmed his appearance at the Masters Olympia. Heading into the show, Curry shared that he would do the Masters if he finished in the top five in Columbus.
“Brandon Curry has confirmed, just now I just spoke to him, and he said ‘I am going to the Masters Olympia.'”
Brandon Curry finished fourth at the Arnold Classic. Derek Lunsford made the jump over reigning Olympia champion Samson Dauda to win the prize. Andrew Jacked finished third. The battle between Lunsford and Dauda was exciting from prejudging and set up what could be a legendary battle at the 2025 Olympia.
Chris Cormier spoke on Curry’s performance and believes he showed that he can still fight for championships.
“I thought he revamped himself. Three Olympia champions up there in the top four. I thought that was great for Brandon to show that he is still here, can compete with the best. I think that will set him up well for the Olympia Masters.”
The Masters Olympia competition officially made its return in 2023. The event was held at the BT Arena in Cluj Napoca, Romania where all 10 divisions in bodybuilding were present to compete. Kamal Elgargni highlighted the event with a victory in Men’s Open. The event was not part of the IFBB Pro League schedule this year but will make its return in August.
Brandon Curry will enter as one of the favorites to win the Masters Olympia. The full roster has not been revealed yet but after his performance in Columbus, Curry will be highly regarded heading into the show.
