The two Strongmen will take on arm wrestling toward the end of 2024.
Brian Shaw has taken on many different challenges over the course of his career. Now, he will venture into the world of arm wrestling and do so against another legendary Strongman.
Shaw announced on YouTube that he will make his arm wrestling debut in a match against Eddie Hall in December.
“He said that he wanted to challenge me to an arm wrestling match. I didn’t think he was that serious but that thought has not left his mind, and he wants to be my entrance into the sport of arm wrestling.”
Brian Shaw vs. Eddie Hall Schedule For December 2024
Brian Shaw shared some of the details of the event, which will take place in the United States. This match will be part of a card where the main event will be Levan Saginashvili and Jerry Cardorette. Shaw shared that Devon Larratt and John Brzenk will also be featured on the care.
“It’s going down here in the United States on December 14 at King of the Table 13. This is going to be an absolutely stacked card. I am honored to be apart of this event.”

Both Brian Shaw and Eddie Hall have been training in different ways since Strongman. This includes an MMA event that ended up falling through due to contract issues. Now, the two legends will step up to the table in arm wrestling.
“There is a period of learning that has to happen with me getting into arm wrestling. There are a lot of physical attributes that can benefit me in arm wrestling. I have to learn how to arm wrestle. This was the way that I approached Strongman as well.”

In November, Generation Iron Network acquired the worldwide theatrical and streaming rights for the new documentary Taming The Beast – The Emptiness Within, the life story of iconic strongman Eddie Hall, first reported in a Variety exclusive. It is set to be released early 2025.
Taming The Beast – The Emptiness Within, the upcoming film, follows Eddie Hall, the World’s Strongest Man, as he learns how to embrace his mental health challenges by confronting his inner demons and dealing with his biggest failure to date, which ultimately changes his life. The film explores Hall’s struggles with depression and mental health and brings to light how famous athletes and celebrities struggle with these challenges.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, who are prominently featured in the film, offered their mentorship and friendship to Hall throughout the filming, and due to their relationship, Hall was cast in Expend4bles, the fourth installment in the Expendables franchise. Actor Gabriel Luna and ESPY-nominee, Irish boxer Katie Luna also appear in the film.
