Chris Bumstead messed around with poses from a different division and got fans talking.
Classic Physique champion Chris Bumstead might be done competing but he continues to set new fitness goals for himself. This includes reworking his gym sessions and setting new limits within his diet plan. Bumstead has even toyed with different poses, including Men’s Physique which sparked plenty of conversation within the comment section.

After winning his sixth Classic Physique Olympia title in October 2024, Bumstead announced that he would be retiring. He took the stage one final time during the EVLS Prague Pro in Men’s Open and finished as the runner-up. Now, he is taking on new challenges and goals while remaining as big as possible.

Chris Bumstead continues to be one of the most popular fitness stars in the world today. Even without competing, Bumstead runs popular social media pages while also continuing on with his different brands. He has messed around with Men’s Physique poses in the past and brought it back once again.

Chris Bumstead competed in one final show after his last Olympia victory and it was in Men’s Open. There are some, led by Terrick El Guindy, who believe Bumstead will compete in the Olympia in the biggest division in the coming years. El Guindy spoke on this topic following the Prague Pro and believes that Bumstead will eventually seek a special invitation.
“He needs to go back to the Open at the Mr. Olympia. I think he’s going to ask Dan Solomon for an invitation for the 2026 or 2027 Open Mr. Olympia and I think he’s training very hard for that.”
As of now, there are no plans for Chris Bumstead to return to the stage but if he does, there will be many happy fans out there. If he decides to make the switch in divisions, the bodybuilding world will be on board.
