Chris Bumstead Shares Workout Videos, Sets New Year’s Goal: “Getting Jacked Without Getting Fat, Lifting Some Heavy Ass Weight”

Chris Bumstead went through some old workout videos of his and came up with a plan for the New Year.

Bodybuilder Chris Bumstead is one of the biggest bodybuilders in the world with what many believe is the ideal physique. He has been dominating the Classic Physique division, and there have been many rumors of his retirement after his most recent Mr. Olympia win. Could there still be more on the horizon? Bumstead shared a post ahead of the New Year vowing to build a physique that is more jacked than he is right now.

Chris Bumstead is a Canadian IFBB Classic Physique professional bodybuilder and is the current and 5x Classic Physique Olympia champion. He earned first place back in 2019 when he dethroned Breon Ansley, then went on to win consecutively in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. He was also a featured star in the feature film documentary Generation Iron 3.

Is Chris Bumstead Going to Men’s Open?

There have been rumors and discussions for a long time now about Bumstead potentially making the jump to Men’s Open. This is even something that he has talked about in interviews but there is no plan as of now. Bumstead has shared interest in competing in the biggest division at least once but prefers the show to be close after the Olympia.

Bumstead is coming off his fifth consecutive Olympia victory in Classic Physique. He will continue to prepare for the 2024 competition. He has taken time off from training but plans to hit it hard once the holidays are done.

It’s funny working out has been such a staple in my life, but this is the first time I’ve taken time off and every day I feel like something is missing.”

Bumstead continued on to discuss his plans moving forward.

Chris Bumstead shared some massive workout videos while sharing his goal and even issued a challenge for fans.

“Routine is so important to everyone, and to me the routine of having some form of intense exercise has always been a form of therapy.

I’m going to do my best in the new year to document on YouTube getting my ass back into elite shape with a relatively “balanced” lifestyle. Lots of good food that good for you, cardio that isn’t miserable, and lifting some heavy ass weight.”

Chris Bumstead vows to get as jacked as ever while remaining shredded. In November, he brought arguably his best package to the Olympia stage so it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. In terms of fans, Bumstead will be sharing a challenge on his app so fans can track their own progress.

“Also going to host a transformation challenge on my app with a low barrier to entry so y’all can join me on whatever your goals are.
My main goal is getting jacked without getting fat.”
