Chris Bumstead is a fan of cars and took some of Tesla’s new toys for test drives.
Chris Bumstead has many interests outside of bodybuilding and this includes cars. Boasting his own car collection, Bumstead has some of his own prized possessions and was given the chance to test drive some of Tesla’s new cars and trucks.
Bumstead has continued to share some massive diet plans and workouts in the gym since returning from his short hiatus. This includes hitting workouts with the likes of Hadi Choopan and Ryan Terry. Bumstead has teased the idea of retirement over the last few years but still has that fire to compete.

Making his competitive debut at 19, CBum secured his IFBB League Pro card by 21. During his inaugural Olympia appearance, the judges were thoroughly impressed by his exemplary physique and awarded him second place. Since then, Bumstead has cemented his legacy as the reigning Mr. Olympia Classic Physique champion, securing the title for five consecutive years from 2019 to 2023.
Chris Bumstead Test Drive’s Tesla
Bumstead’s personal car collection features a Tesla Model 3 with a 271-horsepower electric motor. He is familiar with the company and took the CyberTruck for a spin.
“F*cking fast, I’m not going to lie. It takes off.”
The truck can go from 0 to 60mph in 2.6 seconds. The 2024 lineup of trucks begins at $81,895 and can get up to $101,985 for certain models. Bumstead shared his opinion on the truck and feels it was lacking in certain areas despite the overall speed.
“You just can’t compare it to like the electric vehicle but also look a little boring.
Truck was pretty dope, probably not going to buy one. Courtney said it was the ugliest thing she’d ever seen in her life so not going to happen.”

Chris Bumstead collection features everything from a classic 1978 Ford F-150 Lariat edition, valued at $1,279, to Ram 1500 Rebel 4×4 Crew Cab. Bumstead’s most expensive option is a Nissan GT-R with a twin-turbo V6 engine, valued at $101,585. It is clear that Bumstead has a great passion for cars and will look to add to his collection.
Chris Bumstead continues to train hard in the gym and put together his best physique ever ahead of the 2024 Olympia.
