Dana Linn Bailey weighed in on Sam Sulek and the fans of the young generation of bodybuilding.
Dana Linn Bailey is a former Olympia champion in the Women’s Physique division and continues to do great work as a voice around bodybuilding. Recently, she joined Bradley Martyn to discuss Sam Sulek and the fans of the young generation of bodybuilding.
“Think of like all the kids. You have like, you know, the Sam Sulek’s. That dude is what? 20? F*ck man. If you told me he was 40, I’d probably believe you.”
Bailey is a four-time Olympia Women’s Physique champion, and she’s considered the pioneer of the Women’s Physique category after winning the first-ever Women’s Physique competition in 2011. She then went on to win the inaugural Olympia Women’s Physique title two years later. Bailey is also a businesswoman who has tried powerlifting. She did a great job at this, hitting an impressive 877 lbs on her first attempt at the 2019 Arnold Sports Festival.
During a recent interview, Bailey talked Sulek and his rise to fame and compared it to the late Rich Piana and Bostin Loyd.

Sam Sulek has been open about his journey in bodybuilding. This includes his workouts and diet plan, sharing different thoughts on all social media platforms.
Dana Linn Bailey compared this level of openness and the fans of Sulek to those of Piana and Loyd.
“I love Rich Piana but the whole just freely talking about everything. They like, it’s almost glamorized. No, he doesn’t talk about it but that young generation, yes. Oh my God. What’s the one dude? He died a couple of years ago, so sad. But, Bostin Loyd. The Bostin Loyd’s.”
“Like everyone just made it into ‘Oh, well this is what you have to do.’ The problems you have people on the internet like Greg Doucette. He just makes videos like YouTube videos. He gets views off just saying Dana Linn Bailey is a f*cking liar.”
