Olympia legend Flex Lewis made his tentative picks for the 2024 Olympia top four.
Bodybuilding legend Flex Lewis has continued to follow the sport hard since his competitive days ended. The seven-time 212 champion has teased a comeback of his own but until then, he continues to run a successful gym and social media platform. The 2024 Olympia is two months away and Lewis became the latest to share his predictions.
Like many, Lewis believes that the top two from last year will put on a show once again.
“It’s going to be who brings that best version. I know it kind of sounds cliche but we can all see, I’ve been watching both these guys training. Both of them are hungry, both of them are training hard and heavy and both of them are zoned in.”
Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan have been in the top two in back-to-back Olympia competitions. Choopan was victorious in 2022 before Lunsford jumped his last year in just his second Men’s Open competition. Now, this is expected to be the battle to watch once again.
Flex Lewis Shares Top 4 Olympia Predictions
Flex Lewis made his “tentative” Olympia predictions for the upcoming competition:
- Derek Lunsford/Hadi Choopan
- Andrew Jacked/Samson Dauda
“The scarier version of Hadi next to the best version of Derek, that is a bananas comparison. To your point, there’s weak points on both athletes and then there’s incredibly strong points. It’s just going to go down to them in my eyes. It’s no disrespect against the other guys. I just think that they are at a little bit of a different level.”

Andrew Jacked has also inserted himself into the conversation after his victory at the 2024 Texas Pro. He brought an insane physique to the stage and this makes many believe he can return to the top five.
“He was at a good 300 pounds maybe. Obviously you can see what he looks like on the stage right now. He made the improvements, he had his offseason, which he never really had before. This guy now truly believes that he could be a frontrunner in any show he competes in.”
Samson Dauda finished third at last year’s Olympia after winning his first Arnold Classif title. He pushed the top two to the limit but the question is, can he win the 2024 Olympia title?
“Samson is another beast. He knows he has a shot at winning the Mr. Olympia. Has he made the improvements to push any of those top two guys? I don’t know. I think it’s more going to be him and Andrew in that third spot.”
The 2024 Olympia is expected to be another big-time show with a top-heavy group in Men’s Open.
