According to the 2018 World’s Strongest Man, preparation for the Shaw Classic hasn’t been a walk in the park. In fact, Hafthor Bjornsson has gone on record stating that:
“Training for Shaw Classic has not been easy.”
Bjornsson has suffered a number of injuries throughout his career. His pec tear in particular had really thrown off his trajectory in the past few years. Having to scrap plans for a venture into powerlifting, Bjornsson once again shifted his attention to strongman.
