There are many actors that have graced the big screen with an impressive physique.
Each person who hits the gym has their own inspiration or motivation. For bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler, there were many on the big screen who inspired him to compete in bodybuilding. It began with Arnold Schwarzenegger when he doubled as a bodybuilder and actor. During a recent walk, Cutler talked about the best overall physiques in Hollywood.
Cutler was a bodybuilding icon as a 4x Mr. Olympia spanning from 2006-2010 and a 6x runner-up. At 5’9” tall, he’s still considered one of the best bodybuilders and managed an epic rivalry with 8x Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman. Still, he’s managed to stay in fantastic shape well after retirement.

“Are there any film actors now besides Dwayne Johnson that people look at and said I want to have their physiques? Who else has great physiques in Hollywood?”
The Rock is one of many elite physiques in Hollywood right now. Alan Ritchson has also become known for his role in Reacher while Zac Efron and Mark Wahlberg also gain attention. Cutler began to dive into some of the other elite physiques in Hollywood.
Jay Cutler Lists Best Hollywood Physiques
Jay Cutler admitted that there are some impressive looks right now but believes that his era brought more inspirational builds.
“Jason Statham, Chris Hemsworth. But don’t you think we had a lot more inspirational characters growing up? You had Stallone, Van Damme, Arnold. I mean, Bruce Willis was an action star but he didn’t have a body.”
Cutler, like many, was inspired by Arnold and the work he did on stage but also on the big screen. He was able to show off his physique and it landed him many movie roles. The same can be said for Sylvester Stallone.
“I can say that if anyone asked my why I got into bodybuilding, I think Arnold. I don’t give enough credit to Arnold because yes, he did Commando, all those films, but I think it was more the Stallone. The Rocky series and First Blood.”
