Jay Cutler’s Tips to Shredding for the Summer
- Cardio
- Clean Diet
- No Alcohol
Cardio
Cardio has been linked to weight loss for decades now. This is no secret. Jay Cutler believes that half an hour a day will go a long way to losing weight ahead of the summer months.
“Start your cardio. Whether it’s fasted in the morning or you eat your breakfast, get out and walk a little bit, do your bike, treadmill, swim. I’d suggest at least putting 30 minutes into your routine.”
Clean Diet
Your diet plan will be next on the list. Along with hitting the gym and getting your cardio in, it is important to eat clean and focus on leaner gains.
“Cut out all sugars. Cut out all fast foods. Starting weighing your food properly. Remember, the more frequent smaller meals is going to be more beneficial. Getting the metabolism faster, creating that furnace in the body. That will lead to leaner gains.”
No Alcohol
The final tip Jay Cutler shared was to cut out alcohol and other things that are not necessary. This can lead to better health and motivation to reach your goals.
“For us adults, it’s definitely cutting out alcohol. If you want to give yourself a timeline, I think that’s important too, is to give yourself a window of what I want to be in the best shape by X date. Set a goal.”
