Jay Cutler has specific physique goals during the 2023 calendar year.

Jay Cutler has begun his physique transformation for the 2023 calendar year. He has previously laid out different goals and is in the process of getting them into motion. In a recent interview, Cutler spoke on his current training styles and overall topic of steroids in bodybuilding.

Cutler, who won four Olympia titles over the course of his career, went head-to-head with Ronnie Coleman during his reign. Now, he continues to be an influential voice in bodybuilding and has maintained an impressive physique due to his passion and dedication in the gym.

Cutler explained how he still trains hard and it is still difficult to take time off.

“I been training pretty consistent man, not taking days off. I almost have to force myself these days to take a day off. What was it 50 days. When did I do that. I know I wasn’t competing. It’s so funny because as I got a little older now, I always had these theories, of you need a day off after back, a day off after legs, you shouldn’t train fasted, and now look at all these things I’m trying.”

Jay Cutler continued to discuss different protocols that athletes followed. For him, it was focusing on shredding and adding size.

“The hard part that I have these days are that you know people really think that the protocol and that means the drug use is way more intense for the pros or the people like myself in the heyday right.”

Aside from sharing his trying method, Cutler explains how he wakes up and has breakfast right away. It consists of a high protein diet that includes egg whites, one whole egg, two slices of Ezekiel bread, and a bowl of oatmeal.

Despite being fueled and ready to go in the morning, Cutler believes that his best workouts come at night.

“My workouts are better. But the workouts are best at like nine at night. Yes, I feel the best because I’ve gotten four meals in by nine for sure. Yeah, I mean I’ve noticed that I’m better pumped, fuller, I’m hydrated.”
