Keone Pearson will compete in Prague in two weeks. Will there be more coming?
Men’s 212 bodybuilder Keone Pearson is coming off his third consecutive Olympia title over the weekend. He previously announced his plan to compete at the 2025 Prague Pro in Men’s Open and discussed his plans further during the Olympia press conference on Thursday.

Many competitors have made the jump up in division and that could be the road map for Pearson moving forward. Pearson could follow the path of Derek Lunsford, who won his first 212 Olympia title in 2021 before making the big jump to Men’s Open. It is unknown if Pearson plans to make the jump permanently just yet but it is a topic that has surrounded him for over a year now.
Pearson has emerged as a star in bodybuilding in a short amount of time. His pro career, beginning in 2016, started in Classic Physique before making the move to 212. He spent a few years in the division before going head-to-head and defeating Shaun Clarida. Pearson is now the new face of the 212 division after completing the three-peat at the Olympia.

Keone Pearson Talks 2025 Prague Pro

Pearson will be the next 212 competitor to take the next step into Men’s Open and the next bodybuilder overall to do it at the Prague Pro. He feels like he has a lot of tools in place and is ready to see how he matches up.
“I decided to do Prague Open. I wanted to see how I could do against the taller guys that are 20-30 pounds bigger than me. I feel like what I brought this weekend, we got a good rough estimate of how I could look so now I just gotta crisp it up for Prague and see how I do, so I’m excited to see. Challenge myself and from there, that that next step, we’re now two weeks out.”
Pearson will bring more attention to the Prague Pro this year. In 2024, Classic Physique champion Chris Bumstead made his Men’s Open debut in Prague and finished as the runner-up in the biggest division. Pearson will get plenty of attention when he takes the stage against the big boys. If he is able to win the show, it will be interesting to see if he eventually makes the move full time and at the Olympia.
