Hart has worked with trainer, Ross Everline, to put together a program to fit his goals.
“He wanted to get on the cover of Men’s Health. I said I’m the man to get you there, if you listen to the rules.”
Hart was recently featured in Borderlands, which is the recent movie he is starring in based on a best-selling video game. He has been apart of successful franchises such as Think Like A Man, Ride Along, and many more. He has also worked closely with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the two have formed a friendship. Aside from the big screen, Hart has been involved in athletic leagues, such as the NBA and NFL, as a host and entertainer in certain spots.
Everline put together a training split to help keep Hart active and shredded. He explains that “age doesn’t really factor in.”

Kevin Hart’s Training Split
Hart’s training split features six days on and one day off, while mixing in cardio work:
- Monday – Lower Body
- Tuesday – Rest
- Wednesday – Chest
- Thursday – Back
- Friday – Full-Body
- Saturday – Full-Body
- Sunday – Active Recovery, Light Cardio
“The lifting is more tailored toward more mobility and stretching. As you get older, it’s less load. Muscle is a foundational principle as you get older. The more muscle you have, the better you are.”
Everline, who spent time in the NFL, used his background in sports to put together this workout. This split is centered around barbell work with exercises such as squats, overhead press, and lunges.
Hart has always incorporated cardio into his weekly routine and that has continued here. Everline explains that sprint work has become a major feature in this workout.
“We sprint a lot to get our heart rate up and keep us super young. Most people don’t sprint after a certain age. If you continue to use it, you can still run a sprint when you’re 50 or 60.”
