When Lauralie entered her teens, as she became a little less active and started going out more. Drinking and partying had become a part of her lifestyle, and Lauralie’s physique had begun to change, and she started feeling and looking worse with every passing week.

However, it did not take too long for her to realize this, and she got back on the wagon and made her amendments. After a night of partying, Lauralie had realized that she was ruining her overall health. It was immediately after this that she bought herself a gym membership and gave up the nightlife for a fit life, which has clearly paid off.

Stepping on Stage

Lauralie Chapados has good genetics to say the least, so upon her return to the gym she noticed gains and changes to her physique rather quickly, so she kept pushing.

When she was at the gym one day, an IFBB Figure pro complemented Lauralie Chapados for her structure and encouraged her to compete in an upcoming show in Montreal. Although Lauralie was only 17 at the time and juggling two part-time jobs, she still went ahead and decided to give competing a shot, so she started training twice a day.

Lauralie had prepped for four months for her first bodybuilding competition. It would be an understatement to say that Chapados was hooked to competitive bodybuilding from the first time she stepped on stage. This led her to a lengthy competition history.
