“I’m going to show you how to save your diet. You can literally save your diet by keeping this 10-minute rule in mind.”

Furthermore, Labrada is the proud father of Hunter Labrada, a prominent contender in Men’s Open bodybuilding.

Lee Labrada’s 10-Minute Diet Rule
Labrada began to explain the rule as if you were very hungry waiting for your next meal. Instead of moving your meal up, supplement it with something smaller.
“Let’s say you’re on a diet, you’re scheduled to eat at certain intervals, and you’re not scheduled to eat for another 45 minutes, but you are ravenous.
Have a big glass of water, have something that is filling but low-calorie. I personally like psyllium seed mixed with water or a small salad, something that will just take up space in your stomach. It takes no more than 10 minutes to do that.”
The next example that Lee Labrada used was similar. If you are eating your meal quickly because you are hungry, it is important to slow down. He explains that you can push your plate back for 10 minutes to get your body up to speed.
“You’re eating rather quickly because again, you’re hungry. Slow it down. As you’re finishing your meal, stop. Before you finish all the food on the plate, just stop. Push back from the table for, you guessed it, 10 minutes.”
This is a method used to allow your brain to catch up with your stomach. After his set time of 10 minutes is up, it is time to finish your meal.
“What this does is it allows your stomach time to adjust to the food that you have consumed and sends the satiety signal to your brain. After 10 minutes, finishing your mea and I think that you’re going to feel more satiated and full.”
