Nick Walker continues to rehab from his hamstring injury that kept him out of the 2023 Olympia.

Nick Walker continues to rehab a hamstring injury that kept him from competing in the 2023 Olympia. He is back in the gym and showed off his physique while providing updates on his hamstring injury.

Walker quickly rose to the top of the Men’s Open division in a relatively short amount of time. In 2021, he was crowned champion of the Arnold Classic before hitting the Mr. Olympia. He has two top-five finishes in each of the last two years and was a hopeful for this year as well. Unfortunately, Walker suffered an injury that kept him out of the competition.

Walker will not be competing in the Arnold Classic this year while he prepares for the 2024 Olympia, which he would have to qualify for. Walker has also expressed that he believes he deserves a special invitation despite not competing this year.

“Timing blows but it is what it is. Feel my calf, it has loosened up a little bit. The only swelling I have really is going to work its way down but here, it’s like almost clear already.”

Nick Walker Gives Health Update

Nick Walker gave a rough timeline of the injury at the 2023 Olympia when he was caught up in an interview. He continues to work with with trainers to get it back to 100%.

“It looks worse than it feels, I promise. It’s just bad timing. I knew cause it started Wednesday before I left and I was just like ‘f*ck’ if this happened the Wednesday before the show, I was like we could pull this off before it really f*cks up.”

Walker shared that he has started doing a small amount of cardio already but has not ramped it up too much.

“I will be honest, I can even do cardio. Just the bike though. I’m not attempting stairs for a long time though. Just to be able to get on the bike and actually go is like ‘ahhh.'”

Nick Walker is one of the biggest names in bodybuilding and fans will want to see him back on stage soon. If he can qualify for the 2024 Olympia, there is no doubt that he will be contending for the title once again.
