Nick Walker and Bob Cicherillo exchanged responses to one another following strong opinions.
Bodybuilder Nick Walker is working his way back to competition. He is planning to take the stage during the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro in May. Walker will look to win the show and qualify for the Olympia, which he has missed for the last two years.
If Walker were to qualify for the biggest show of the year, would he have a chance to win the title? Bob Cicherillo does not think so.
Cicherillo recently claimed that Walker would never win an Olympia title and Walker responded to those claims.
“I’m not sensitive but watching it and the way he would say some things, it was a little disrespectful. And that’s cool, if that’s how you feel.”
Walker missed the 2023 Olympia as he dealt with a torn hamstring that impacted his preparation for the show. He ended up making his return during the New York Pro and was crowned champion, despite controversy surrounding the final results. He later announced that he would miss the 2024 Olympia as well. Now, he will compete in Pittsburgh with the 2025 competition on his mind.
Nick Walker, Bob Cicherillo Respond To Each Other
During a recent podcast, Nick Walker was asked about his opinion on the comments made by Cicherillo.
“Who the f*ck is Bob?
I’m all for constructive criticism. I don’t give a f*ck. But you wanna play the game a little bit, now I’m gonna play it back. All fair game.”
Nick Walker highlighted his accomplishments to this point of his career and compared it to Bob Cicherillo. This prompted his remarks of “who the f*ck is Bob,” which Cicherillo responded to once again.
“My response first would be, let me tell you who the f*ck I am, I’m the guy who’s gonna be announcing you 8th place at the Olympia.”
On Tuesday, Walker shared a new shirt that was created in light of this new feud within the bodybuilding world.
Nick Walker will take the stage in 10 weeks at the Pittsburgh Pro. It will be interesting to see how he enters after the criticism at the NY Pro last year. If he impresses, it will make an intriguing talking point for the months ahead of the Olympia.
