The reigning Olympia champion is looking massive entering the summer.
Men’s Open bodybuilder Samson Dauda is currently at the top of the bodybuilding world. He is working hard to stay there and it has shown this offseason. Dauda recently shared a physique update this offseason weighing in at 328 pounds.
Dauda won his first Olympia title in 2024, defeating the likes of Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan. He quickly returned to competition in the 2025 Arnold Classic, where he finished as the runner-up to Lunsford. This sets up an intense battle at the end of the year during the Olympia.
Dauda has proven that he is a true force in Men’s Open and this has been the case since his debut. In 2022, he finished in the Top 10 at his first Olympia competition and shot up the scorecard in 2023 — when he was top three. Dauda is now preparing to make it two victories in a row.

Samson Dauda Shares Massive Physique Update
Samson Dauda has continued his work this offseason under the guidance of his coach, and wife, Marlena. Together, they have sculpted a championship physique and added even more size to his frame this year.
“Off season week 3…. 328lbs”
In February, Dauda addressed negative comments made about being coached by his wife. He sat down with her and discussed the comments and she explained the best way to handle it — even when Dauda wanted to handle it a different way.
“You know, I’m not putting up with this. She told me, don’t just leave it. You have to sit there and listen to people that know nothing just talk so badly about someone you love. Not just you love, but just selfless in every way.”
Samson Dauda competed in his first bodybuilding contest in April of 2014. He competed in the beginner competition early in the day, but the promoter invited him to compete in the main show later on, telling Dauda he thought he had a chance to win the whole show. To Samson’s surprise, he took the first place trophy home that day, which started his journey.
Now, his journey has taken him to the top of the bodybuilding world. His work this offseason shows how determined he is to stay there at the 2025 Olympia.
